Cambridge Assessment International Education - Our Education Partner

IES Skellefteå International School provides the opportunity to study an international curriculum - the globally renowned Cambridge Pathway, which is offered in partnership with Cambridge Assessment International Education.

Students start learning aged five and follow the Cambridge Pathway throughout their time at the school. This allows a seamless transition from primary to secondary school and beyond, even for students who move from one country to another.This pathway is designed to help students be confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged – equipped for success in the modern world.

Students learn in three stages: Cambridge Primary (age 5-11), Cambridge Lower Secondary (age 11-14) and Cambridge Upper Secondary (age 14-16). Upper secondary students graduate from the school after taking the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) exams. All teaching is provided in English.

Cambridge Assessment International Education, with its history dating back to 1858, is a key partner for schools throughout the world who offer an international education. The organisation is part of the prestigious University of Cambridge, in the United Kingdom.
