In August 2019 Internationella Engelska Skolan will open a school in Skellefteå for around 300 students from grade F-9.
We would like to invite parents, students and the wider community to an information evening about the school at The Great Northern, Storgatan 53, on January 22nd from 18:00-19:00.
The audience will hear from the principal Frederik Granström about his vision for the school and what life will be like for students on a day to day basis.
Those attending will also have the chance to meet representatives of IES including the vice CEO, Jörgen Stenquist, and head of academics, Damian Brunker, and to ask questions.
Today there are 25,600 students in our 36 schools. Every school follows our conviction that each individual student can achieve their full potential through:
- Command of the English language – the key to the world. Up to half of our teaching is in English, performed by certified native English-speaking teachers.
- A safe and orderly environment, where teachers can teach and students learn.
- High academic expectations.
The school is open to everyone. Places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis according to how long students have been in the queue, which can be found here.
